Celery Smoothie

Equipment

  • High speed blender

Ingredients

  • 4 stalks celery about 2 cups chopped
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 2 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 lemon for serving

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients except the lemon in a high speed blender until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses. Squeeze some lemon juice into each glass. Stir and enjoy cold.

Notes

Tip: add the romaine to the smoothie pitcher first. Then add the celery and other ingredients. Adding the heavier items on top of the lighter helps to make sure that everything gets nicely blended.
Serve right away or make ahead of the next day.
Keep in the fridge in a mason jar with a lid. Don't forget the lemon juice before drinking!
Yield: 4 cups.
