Skillet Brussel Sprouts with Lemon

With just olive oil, salt and lemon, these roasted brussel sprouts get crispy on the outside with a delicious charred texture and stay tender on the inside.

fresh brussel sprouts

olive oil

kosher salt

lemon

Wash and cut brussel sprouts in half and remove the hard stem.

STEP 1

Heat olive oil in the cast iron skillet. Add sprouts. Let cook 2 minutes.

STEP 2

Then turn, and cook for another 2 minutes. They will steam as the moisture is released.

STEP 3

Repeat until nicely charred. Add salt and lemon juice.

STEP 4

Serve warm with extra lemon.
