CHICKEN THIGHS WITH SWEET & SPICY SAUCE

These Chicken Thighs made in the Instant Pot with a delicious sweet and tangy sauce is a perfect weeknight meal.

olive oil

chicken broth

ketchup

salsa

honey

Select "Saute" on your Instant Pot. Add the olive oil. Mix-up the ingredients of the sauce in a bowl.

STEP 1

Once the Instant Pot reads "Hot", add the chicken to the pot one at a time and sear on all sides, turning a few times for 5 minutes.

STEP 2

Add broth and coat the chicken with the sticky sauce.

STEP 3

Secure the lid. Press  Set to "Pressure Cook" for 7 minutes.

STEP 4

After 7 minutes, give the chicken a 5 min NPR then release the remaining steam.. Serve on rice.
