Add marinade ingredients in a small sauce pan. Whisk to combine and bring to a simmer. Cook this down till thicker and a bit sticky, stirring often on med heat, about 8 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
Place pork tenderloin in a baking dish or bag and pierce all over with a fork. Pour marinade over the tenderloin, place in fridge to marinade for 6 hours or overnight.
When ready to cook, remove pork from fridge. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a cast iron pan over medium heat. Once hot, add tenderloin.
Cook for 2-3 minutes to get a nice sear on the pork. Flip and cook on the other side for another 2-3 minutes. Spoon some of the melted butter over the tenderloin as it cooks.
Remove from heat. Add green beans or broccolini (if desired). Place whole pan into the oven. Roast for approximately 15 - 18 minutes or until internal temperature is 145 degrees F.
Let rest for 5 - 10 minutes before cutting into the tenderloin. Serve with the veggies and rice.
