Here's what you'll need to make this simple coleslaw:
- 4 cups cabbage slaw - I like buying the cabbage that's already in the bag all shredded up
- 2 tablespoon cilantro
The simple coleslaw dressing is just 3 ingredients:
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
No sugar needed!

Variations
This recipe is delicious and simple on it's own but you can also change this up and make it your own with add-ins.
Try adding in:
- Chopped apple for more crunch and vitamin C
- Some celery seed into the dressing for that classic taste
- Green onions for a little more flavour
- Diced up zucchini for texture and more fresh flavour
- Even throwing in raisins! This gives a little sweetness to balance out the tangy lime-vinaigrette
And for the cabbage itself, you can use regular cabbage slaw or even a kale-blend slaw is really nice too.
The only one I wouldn't use is the broccoli slaw.
The thicker broccoli slaw calls for a more substantial dressing than you'll get from this simple slaw dressing
